Booster Club Monthly Minutes

PHS LAX Booster Meeting - January 5, 2012

I.                   Welcome  - Present, Pat T., Gayle F., Becky S., Chris G., Susan B., Tony M., Erin G., Kristen B., Shelli M.

II.                 Roles & Responsibilities Overview & Assignments - if you volunteer to oversee, then you are the lead on this, you coordinate details with Tony & Pat and any volunteers that are helping you.

III.              Defining and assigning…

A.    Pancake Breakfast - Kris & Becky - Saturday, January 28^th.  $4 per plate - we charge $8 per ticket - the boys run the service - the boys have to sell 6 tickets each - 7am-11am - we need to provide the juice and coffee - 200 tickets -  will see if the Pancake Breakfast can go on the marquee & email (shelli - face off meeting as well) - roll out the tickets on the 14^th - collect money on the 21^st - goal to raise $1,500

B.     Big Event - Shelli & volunteers - March 17^th - Habitat for Humanity - Advocacy for the Elderly - Parker Senior Center or something else local in Parker - Food Bank of the Rockies - Erin & Kristin will handle the younger group activity.  The goal is $300 per player

C.     Volunteer Coordinator - Becky

D.    Clothing/Apparel - Pat is researching pricing - after Pat decides, Susan will coordinate thereafter

E.     Corporate Advertising/Sponsors - Erin

F.     Program - Susan

G.    501 C3 Completion - Dirk & Gayle

H.    Website/Communications - Becky, Shelli & Chris - Tony to set up pay pal system - Becky & Shelli will add the Winter League games

I.       Transportation - Chris - set dates for travel games, take a bus one way - Chris will look into necessary forms

J.       Photography - Sherry from Flash & Dash - Susan - will upload onto website

K.     King Sooper Cards - Kristin looked into it.  Will be rolled out at Parent Meeting - looking into Safeway

IV.              Parent Face Off Meeting - January 18^th - Pat & Shelli will create email announcement - Wednesday 6:30pm - Cafeteria/Commons

                                                                                    x.      Transportation Update - One way buses to every game outside of Parker or early games at Sports authority.  No return transportation. - Chris

                                                                                  xi.      First Game is March 10^th - Varsity & JV - home at Ponderosa High School

V.                Extra Helmets and equipment will be available - waivers/rental agreements will be required to signed - Gayle will write up.

VI.              We will have locker decoration/Spirit committee svolunteers
